Ok, if you managed to read through the “Ooooo No” blog I posted yesterday then well done you! For those of you who have not, yesterday was a bad day for a Man who up until now has considered himself at the peak of his physical and mental capacity. I am sitting here today in Tinderbox (UK based Coffee Shop) contemplating whether to go for a large espresso hit or a nice herbal tea, I am starting the mental process of getting my head around the potential outcome of my imminent visit with said cardio consultant.
Aaaaaaaah, that Expresso is going down well. I suppose my choice in liquid refreshments in some way reflects the state of my mind right now. The private Hospital I am attending is about twenty minutes drive away which in some ways is good as it means it is only twenty minutes back the other way for a well deserved pint. I know, drinking and blood pressure do not mix but today they will!
V decided to also come along as she did not trust me to tell the consultant exactly what was wrong. Since all this has come about I have been fairly vague in my discussions with her mainly because she is a wicked worrier and I did not want to be adding to it. She is also like a dog with a bone when she gets an idea in her head. The last thing I needed at this point was a ball busting I told you so for years conversation. Best to get all the fact first was my game plan… There was no doubt about it, V at this point was on to me and for that reason alone I suspect she was gate crashing my date!
Arriving at the Hospital, all the usual feelings surfaced! I think it is the smell when you walk into them that triggers all sorts of thoughts. There is something clinical and unwelcoming about the odour. I had considered prior to going that perhaps the private route was going to be a different experience. Entering the hospital I realised it was not… The cold hard fact is they are just the fecking same! You buy yourself to the front of the queue going private and that is about it! Anyway time to get this over with! I hope the Consultant is Cute!!!!

Such a great article. Thank you very much for sharing those post. I will of course check it out.
Finally something fresh and new that make sense! I would like to see more about this and that is what I’m going to do.
